Doesn't work, when you boot from cd the install looks like its going to start then reports that the computer has no hard drive, so installatin cant work.

@unscrupuloustim are you sure nothing is wrong with your hard drive or if its unplugged because windows xp has done it once to me (not this copy a copy of pro) and then i found out it was unplugged there could be something wrong with your hard drive as it should be working fine because i have tested it on 15 different computers

well if anyone is having problems with windows activation try out this crack http://free.pages.at/antiwpa11/index2.php it might be because i slip streamed sp3 and then cracked i might fix this in the next torrent

jatt1234 boot into safe mode then apply the crack without networking it works trust me

Just installed, apparently without an issue. But why is there a "Activate Windows" thing at the very top when I hit the All Programs choice?

Patch doesn't work, even in Safe Mode. Says it's patched but when I tried installing Microsoft Security Essentials and it won't do it since it says it didn't pass whatever test it does to make sure it's a valid copy of Windows. What's the point of this if it doesn't do what it's advertised to do?

@brownstem it is advertised correctly you don't need to enter a serial do you? i didn't advertise it as genuine did i? plus if you want a genuine copy of windows xp buy it of ebay its very cheep these days i even got a copy of windows home edition from a neighbour who wanted to chuck it out so i rest my case ay?
